Learning occurs at its best when FUN and engaging activities that have real world meaning are experienced in a supportive environment that is active.
Children and teachers don’t want to watch TV and stop investigating to talk to people. The exciting BUZZ of learning should be continuous ‘in the moment’. That is why we provide you with 3 levels of support to create a unique, FUN and educationally challenging ‘Science Club’ that has been tested by experienced teachers & 100’s of school students.

Does it Work?
As you know, many people think they know how busy it is to be a teacher. The days of having release time or FREE periods to plan and organise, or even mark are going. Time is more precious now than ever before and you want activities that are going to work….EVERY TIME!
Our Science Club has been designed by a teacher with over 22 years of full time teaching experience. We have lived the busy life of a teacher and know our club works! We know what engages kids learning at the end of a day of classes AND how to integrate it to a teachers busy schedule.
Our Club Logo
Our Club Logo is based on the chemical element called Cesium (Cs), which also is the first letters of our Club: Crazy Science’. We did this because:
1) It is a liquid at 28 degrees Celsius (very close to the temperature of a room). Just like Cesium, learning is a fluid process that is constantly changing. Just like liquid cesium takes the shape of any container it is in, learning should take the shape of the environment and always be based around critical thinking and problem solving.
2) It has a silver/gold appearance which is just …… Mesmerizing. We believe that learning science should contain many activities that are simply mesmerizing! When you mix highly engaging (mesmerizing) learning activities with FUN, the learning is ………. effortless, long lasting and powerful!
3) It is the MOST reactive metal on the Periodic Table, Â reacting explosively in air and water. The learning of science should be just as powerful, creating opportunities that ignite and spark the mind.

The Crazy Science Club has been written and designed by a 22 years experienced full time teacher who KNOWS what being a busy teacher is like. Teachers know how kids learn and how to modify learning experiences to best suit their learning needs and enhance their development (while simultaneously having a ‘ball of a time’).

(1) The activities that are offered by our Crazy Science Club have been tested in REAL classrooms for years. They work!
(2) Other providers offer 1-2 activities in the club time frame. HOWEVER, as experienced teachers know, this is not enough to keep their attention span going…….. they also teach the children with a white board!!!!!
Our Science Club creates an environment that keeps the kids exploring on concepts for the whole time and provides the club organizer / facilitator various opportunities to dissect / explain those concepts in a FUN way.

What is the fuss with Video Conferencing?
We may not have video conferencing, BUT we believe that we / you don’t need it. Here is why:
(1) The kids have been sitting down most of the day and the last thing they want is to watch a TV instead of actively exploring!
(2) Stopping kids periodically from exploring the activities actually decreases the amount of material the children can get through AND also increases their frustration levels.
(3) Nothing beats being LIVE in the room to help and guide the kids learning. We provide the support to train you and make you confident in the activity (and science) to help the kids through their learning.
(4) We KNOW, that even teachers have trouble remaining focused during video conferencing meetings or PD sessions. If professional trained adults find it a challenge, how do kids find it?? Especially in today’s…. instantaneous gratification generation where they want to see the results NOW!!!
(5) As we have all experienced, technology can fail at the best of times and your lesson prep is GONE! Relying on a video feed for successful club can be tumultuous.
Having the subscription training videos will enable your skill level to run the workshop at best and is always there to run on a laptop (at worst) if needed.

 As much as we would like your continual business, we want you to learn and enjoy science as well. Of course once you become skilled in the activities, there is always our many products to buy for your club.
Our training videos provide the best teacher / facilitator training for the Science Club activities. Features of these videos include:
– Complete demonstration of the activity. (multi-angled HD video)
– Tips on how to manage the activities in a Science Club environment.
– A FULL explanation of the Science Behind the activity is provided.
– Linking the science concepts to other real world examples and experiments.

The exact requirements depend on which level you want. But a general list is as follows:
– several tables, access to water and power
– a room to fit up to 20 kids with tables etc
– consumables (dependent on weekly activity) for children
– specific materials from ‘The Crazy Scientist’ if needed or desired (in our Crazy Science Club Box)
