We have run MANY Bunnings Science walk-by for the small to BIG store with great success. We modify the experiences due to the number of customers, available size at store and even if it is weekend experience or a dedicated night (Family night, Easter night, Dad / Mum nights, Halloween etc).

Time
- Our workshop minimum time is 1.5hr, but may also be booked for longer periods depending on the event (2hr, 3hr etc).
- This workshops is designed to be conducted inside.
- Children have time to really explore the concepts and are not rushed from one activity to another.

(1) We believe  in creating a highly VISUAL and ACTIVE environment that is focused around FUN. That is why we:  – Make it a theatrical experience  – Ensure equipment is NEW, unique and imported or created by us to make learning   the best it can be  – DO NOT use cheap materials in a bucket or two  – Provide multiple learning experiences with NEW and unique materials that come in several large containers  (2) We want to promote the idea that learning science should not only be FUN but also occurs ALL the TIME and not just when a presenter is there.  That is why we:   – provide EVERY child with a FREE gift to take home and explore – provide EVERY child with a FREE home experiment sheet that allows them to  conduct another experiment at home. Great BIG demonstrations for BIG Crowds!
We have BIG demonstrations that can be used in BIG crowd shows if you need them at Bunnings. We have done Bunnings Shows for crowds up to 120 at one time.

Our Liquid Nitrogen experience @ Bunnings is so……… Â Â

We mix our LN experience with other hands-on activities in the form of mini-show then explore format.
Our experience and formal education qualifications tell us that people learn the best when they SEE, HEAR and FEEL new information in a FUN environment.
Unlike other shows around we make them

That is why we have designed our show around these features as highlighted below to make an unforgettable LN experience. Some of the demonstrations include:
When LN and Fire Meet?
- Will LN explode?
- Watch and beware as fire is brought near some LN and learn about combustion.
What happens if you lick a LN Kettle?
- Our LN kettle explores the wonders of expansion of gases, state changes and MORE.
The LN Genie in a Bottle
- Our VERY dramatic ‘LN Genie in a Bottle’
- Teaches cloud formation, state changes and MORE!
- More than blowing in a cup here!
Expanding Snakes & Flying Dragons
- Kids use correct safety gear and equipment to place long balloons into LN and watch them expand (expanding snakes).
- This teaches heat transfer.
- We also use our special balloons that fly in the air as they expand teaching density of gases (flying Dragons).
The LN ‘Sausage Finger’ 
-  We explain what happens if you touch LN by using a sausage frozen in LN.
- This can teach flash freezing and MORE.
Of course there is ALL the usual demonstrations as well:
- Expanding Glove (but with a difference!)
- Smashing fruit, tennis balls and MORE.
- Exploding tins
- LN and bubbles (BUT bigger)

- Providing child volunteers with coloured lab coats, glasses and safety goggles during demos (complete PPE). Unlike other providers who may use adult sized safety gear, we ensure child sizes are used to maximise their safety.
- Environmental equipment used maximises safety (carpet squares, LN desk dewar, cryogloves)
- Contrary to some providers, ‘The Crazy Scientist’ has formal training in the use of Liquid Nitrogen and other Dangerous Goods.
